Obituaries

 

Watts, Jr., William C. “Bill”, 48, of East Providence, died Wednesday at home.  Born in Providence, a son of the late William, Sr. and Shirlene (Johnson) Watts.  He had lived in Rhode Island most of his life.

Mr. Watts worked at the Providence Veterans Administration Hospital in the Logistics Department.  He was a navy veteran of the Gulf War where he received many citations and ribbons.  

He leaves a daughter Ardrianna R. Watts and a son William K. Watts both of North Kingstown, a brother, Duron Watts of Phoenix, AZ, and three sisters; Rezzi Watts of Tempe, AZ, Valerie Dickerson of Lancaster, PA and Chantee Weah of Pawtucket.

His life will be celebrated with calling hours Wednesday from 10:00am to 11:00am with a service in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston at 11:00am.  Burial, with Military Honors, will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.
