Obituaries

 

Nicholson, William J., 63, passed peacefully Wednesday (1-20-2016) with his family by his side in Ft Lauderdale, FL.  Born in Providence a son of the late Robert and Margaret (Mitchell) Nicholson.  He was the husband of Linda (Kiggins) Nicholson.

Bill was a fan of the Miami Dolphins, the NY Yankees, the Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins.  He was a member of the American Legion in Ft Lauderdale.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Steven (Christina) Nicholson of Ft Lauderdale, a daughter, Dawn (Anthony) Vittorioso of Cranston, a brother, Donald Nicholson of Cranston two sisters; Peggy Rega of Cranston and Donna Perez of Orange Park, FL and 2 granddaughters Devinah and Giovonah Vittorioso.  He was father of the late William J. Nicholson, Jr. and brother of the late Robert and John Nicholson.

Burial in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston will be private.
