Cardillo, Frank J., 65, of North Kingstown, passed peacefully at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence surrounded by loved ones.  Born in Providence, a son of the late Carmine and Nancy (Massa) Cardillo, he had lived in North Kingstown for 16 years.

Mr. Cardillo was a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans Association.  He retired from the Social Security Administration after working there for over 20 years and after two years of retirement he went to work for The Military Order of the Purple Heart as a counselor.

He is survived by his loving companion of nineteen years, Dyann M. Casala of North Kingstown, three sons; Frank Cardillo of North Providence, Michael Cardillo of Providence and Timothy Casala of North Kingstown, two daughters; Tami Casala of Fall River and Tanya Casala of Coventry, a brother John Cardillo of Woonsocket and a grandson Giovanni Casala.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday May 9th at 9:00am in St Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown 02852 with burial and military honors to follow at RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.  Arrangements by Stapleton Family Funeral Home.
